Suction Rack does not attach directly to the Comma device on its own; it requires a SlideMount (or MagMount) to function.

Do not install the set screws if you are still within your return window and haven't decided whether you will keep your Comma device. The set screws can leave permanent cosmetic marks on the device's casing, which may affect your ability to return it to Comma.
The new CNC aluminum bracket for C4 is precision-machined to be extremely tight right out of the box. The set screw is completely optional and is only needed if you personally find the connection to be loose.

We engineered this mount to solve the most common issues users face:

  • 100% Magnet-Free (Press-to-Unlock): We ditched the magnets for a rock-solid mechanical lock. This means zero magnetic interference and no rattling.
  • Zero Fan Interference: The design is specifically contoured to ensure the Comma 4's cooling fan is not affected.
  • Bi-Directional Sliding: You can slide the device on and off from two different directions, making it much easier to handle in vehicles with tight windshield angles.

  • CNC Aluminum Bracket: Because the new C4 mounting slot is so much smaller, plastic parts just don't offer enough rigidity. We upgraded the core sliding bracket to CNC-machined aluminum to guarantee a rock-solid, vibration-free connection.

    Addon A: C3 Slidemount Convert Kit 

    • What it does: Converts your old C3 Slidemount into a C4 Slidemount.

    • Important: This is a permanent DIY modification. You will need to dismantle your old mount. Once converted, it will no longer work with your C3 device.

    • Who is this for? Only choose this if you are fully switching to C4 and will never need to mount your C3/C3X again.


    Addon B: C3 Device-Side Mount (Compatible with C4 Base) 

    • What it does: Allows you to mount a C3/C3X onto the new C4 Slidemount device side.

    • Requirement: You must also purchase a C4 Slidemount (or the Transfer Kit above) to use this.

    • Who is this for? Choose this if you want to use both a C3 and a C4 on the same vehicle.

    • Includes: 1x Device-side mount for C3 (fits C4 rail).

    We did some improvements on the new Side Slidemount for C4.

    Highlight: 
    1. CNC aluminum C4 holding bracket (at the center)
    2. All screwed-in design with no epoxy or any adhesive on the structural parts.
    3. 2X the VHB tape area, pair with reduced-weight C4, means not waiting for VHB to cure.
    4. Curved mounting surface on the windshield side to better fit any windshield.
    5. Right-angle USB-C cable.
    6. Together with the Side Slide mechanism for maximum top space saving.

    Need Nonmagnetic Version

    I liked the ease to remove Comma 4 from the windshield but magnets interfered with the fan. I am looking forward to the update to the nonmagnetic version of this mount.
